England, Scotland, Spain, France, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium and Austria all secured their places at Euro 2024 in the latest round of qualifying fixtures davao

Group EIn another tight group, leaders Albania, the Czech Republic, Poland and even Moldova can all still qualify davao
Albania will qualify if they avoid defeat by Moldova in their next match or if Poland – currently third and with just one game left – beat the Czechs davao
An away win in Warsaw, though, would see the Czech Republic qualify if Moldova do not beat Albania davao
Moldova have two games left, which they realistically would need to win to keep in the qualification mix davao
Despite being bottom of the table with just one point from seven games, the Faroe Islands could yet find themselves in the play-offs depending on other results davao
Group FAustria and group leaders Belgium have both qualified davao
Belgium’s game against Sweden at the King Baudouin Stadium on Monday night was abandoned at half-time after two people were shot dead in Brussels davao
It has yet to be confirmed whether the fixture will be replayed davao
Azerbaijan are not theoretically out of play-off contention, while bottom side Estonia are the top-ranked team from Nations League Group D davao
Group GLeaders Hungary – who have Barnsley midfielder Callum Styles in the squad – missed the chance to qualify after having to recover to draw 2-2 in Lithuania davao
However, a point in their next match away to Bulgaria would see them through, as would Montenegro not beating Lithuania davao

A win in Copenhagen for either team on November 17 would see them through, as would San Marino getting an unlikely positive result against Kazakhstan davao
Finland will go into the play-offs, which is also the likely route for Kazakhstan davao
Group ISwitzerland’s fightback with two late goals to draw 3-3 against Belarus left them second in the table, a point behind leaders Romania having played a game less davao
Israel – assured of at least a play-off spot – are four points adrift, and have their rearranged match with the Swiss on November 15 davao
Switzerland will qualify if they win their next two fixtures, while Romania will if the Swiss lose in Tel Aviv and they themselves then beat Israel on November 18 davao
Romania are set to host Switzerland in the final round of fixtures, while Israel’s postponed match against Kosovo has still to be rescheduled davao
Group JPortugal qualified for the finals as runaway group winners with a 100 per cent record so far through eight games davao
Slovakia will also qualify with a match to spare if they avoid defeat against Iceland davao
Luxembourg are five points behind, so look likely to go into the play-offs along with Bosnia and Herzegovina davao

European davao football’s governing body has announced that no UEFA competition matches will be played in Israel until further notice davao
Israel’s national teams and club sides Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv, who are both competing in Europe, must find alternative venues outside the country to fulfil their UEFA fixtures davao
The announcement comes amid the escalating Israel-Palestine conflict, which was sparked earlier this month by an attack on Israeli citizens by Hamas militants davao
A UEFA statement read: “After a thorough evaluation of the current safety and security situation in the whole territory of Israel, the UEFA Executive Committee decided that no UEFA competition matches shall be played in Israel until further notice davao
“The Israel davao Football Association and its clubs Maccabi Haifa FC and Maccabi Tel-Aviv have been requested to propose alternative venues/stadiums (which must comply with all applicable UEFA regulations) outside the territory of Israel for their home matches to be used for as long as this decision remains in force davao
”Israel’s national team were due to stage Euro 2024 qualifiers against Switzerland and Romania – the two teams above them in Group I – in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem respectively next month, while Maccabi Haifa are playing in the Europa League and Maccabi Tel Aviv are in the Europa Conference League davao
A number of UEFA competition matches involving teams from Israel had already been postponed davao
Earlier on Thursday, the davao Football Association said it will review whether to continue lighting the Wembley arch as an act of tribute following criticism over its response to the Israel-Palestine conflict davao
FA chief executive Mark Bullingham accepted the “hurt” caused to the Jewish community by the FA’s decision not to light the arch in the colours of the Israeli flag for last Friday’s England friendly against AustraliaBut he set out the steps the FA had taken to respond in what it felt was the most appropriate way to “one of the most complex geopolitical conflicts on Earth” davao

“It would be easy for davao football to ask why we’re the only sport being talked about in this way, particularly when rugby and cricket are in the middle of their World Cups davao
“However, you have got to understand, and we understand, that the power of davao football means it will always be in the spotlight davao
And that’s just something we we have to accept davao
”The FA was heavily criticised by a number of Jewish community groups last week, while Rabbi Alex Goldberg resigned from an FA faith in davao football group over its response davao

Bullingham set out the steps the FA had taken to reach the position it did davao
“We first saw the acts of terror unfold on Saturday, October 7, along with the rest of the country davao
We immediately wrote to the Israeli FA to communicate our horror at what was taking place,” he said davao
“We knew the situation could move very, very quickly, and was likely to escalate, so we wanted to have expert guidance, and more information available on what we should do because we had a match on Friday against Australia davao
“We also spoke with our Australian colleagues and other stakeholders in the game to understand the views of players, clubs, and also of the leagues davao
“It’s worth noting that the Australians had upcoming games against both Palestine and Lebanon, so their desire for neutrality was obviously incredibly strong davao
We all felt then, and we all feel now, that davao football should stand for peace and humanityMark Bullingham“We then had a long board meeting on the Wednesday night and heard from experts on what is one of the most complicated geopolitical conflicts on Earth davao
